The Great Vasko

You’ve probably wondered what does the name Vasko refer to or who that man in our logo is, since our 1st branch opened in Cloud 9 Mall, we’ve received many questions about Vasko and we’ve enjoyed every second telling his story and reviving the coffee passion!

Vasko is a man who lived during the 1900s, he was a coffee-obsessed young man who chose to go beyond his passion, he spent years studying the agricultural and climatic effects on coffee beans, roasting techniques and different brewing methods, after he finished his studies he decided to travel to lands around the Earth’s equator where it’s suitable to grow coffee cherries; during his journey across different countries he explored the difference amongst beans, how each region and district has its influence on the final taste of coffee, he kept on exploring and went through numerous coffee tasting trials till he found the satisfying taste he was looking for, a golden moment in Vasko’s life.

Vasko wanted to share his findings with everyone in his hometown, he wanted them to know, taste and enjoy coffee, that was when he decided to establish his own coffee store, he started his project by building his own coffee farms in unique locations he has discovered in his previous travels, then he built his roastery and opened his very first coffee store.

Vasko was an innovator, his exploring and experimenting were neverending, he created various coffee blends and recipes and offered it to everyone, aiming to elevate the coffee standards within his community.

Inspired by his story, today our brand follows the steps of the great great Vasko offering premium coffee to the market pursuing the long journey.

Our Coffee and Roastery

We go through a continuous searching process across the three regions of the coffee belt, sampling coffee beans from different farms in various countries till finding the exquisite flavor notes of coffee we’re seeking. We offer single origin coffee and our own in-house blends.

Vasko’s Roastery consists of 4 partitions, the green beans storage room, the Roaster and Coffee Lab partition equipped with specialty coffee tools for sampling, the coffee degassing partition and the packaging partition.

Our team of experts go thoroughly through each stage and have numerous sampling processes till reaching the desired taste profiles and ensure that all our beans are roasted 7 days before serving to ensure your coffee is fresh.
